The battery for DJI Matrice 5T is an intelligent flight battery designed to power the drone and its gimbal. It attaches to the rear of the aircraft and communicates directly with it. This allows the operator to check its charge level and status directly from the remote controller.
Sold separately from the drone, it allows operators to use multiple batteries for successive flights. It is therefore well suited to the needs of search and rescue, inspection and mapping missions.
With a capacity of 215.2 Wh and a weight of 768 g, this battery provides up to 59 minutes of flight time for DJI Matrice 5T. Hovering time reaches 54 minutes.
In addition, it features an automatic heating system. This helps maintain battery performance in cold weather. As a result, the drone can take off without having to wait for the battery to warm up manually.
Charging from 10% to 95% in 30 Minutes
Compatible with the Matrice 5 Series Charging Hub, this battery supports a charging power of 515 W. It can therefore charge from 10% to 95% in just 30 minutes. This shorter charging time reduces downtime between missions and makes battery rotation easier.
The charging hub can charge up to three batteries sequentially. It offers two charging modes. Standard mode charges batteries to 100%. Standby mode limits the charge level to 95% to help preserve battery cells when they are not going to be used immediately.
The battery features a two-step locking mechanism. This ensures it is securely attached to the drone. In addition, the aircraft can take off again just 10 seconds after battery replacement.
By using multiple batteries together with the charging hub, operators can streamline battery rotation. This setup helps minimise downtime and extend search and rescue, surveillance and inspection operations.
